Mackerel fishing was excellent today. We read plenty of mackerel from the minute we stopped until it was time to head home. Anglers caught them on bait and jigs.
Full coolers for anyone that wanted that many today.
Everyone on board caught all the mackerel they wanted, some sea bass, and a couple of Bluefish.
The pool winner was:
Marcus from Poughkeepsie New York with a 3 lb blue fish.
Last night was Andy Pham from pennsauken New Jersey with an 8 lb Bluefish.
Last night they caught some blue fish, a few fluke, sea bass , and a couple of mackerel. They read plenty of fish but it was slow last night. Hopefully they will bite better tonight.
The Jamaica will be sailing tonight, Saturday night at 7:30PM
Day trips will sail Sunday and Monday.
We will be fishing for Mackerel, Bluefish, and Sea Bass at 7:30AM Sunday, and Monday this week.
