Hit the Res. Saturday evening for a little while after a fishing derby earlier in the day. Tried to locate some Hybrid schools but didn’t fund much at all. Started drifting around with bait while jigging and cracked a LM on a plastic. Started that drift again, bam, double header, brought in a small LM and a Slab. Kept repeating the drift and wound up with 12 slabs to 14.5 inches. Sun started to go down so I I got out of there. No need for me to stay for the midnight shift. They’ll be schooled up shortly.






Sunday I wasn’t sure what to do as I woke up late. I decided to take my second trip to the Trout rivers. First trip was opening day. Lol! Ahhhhh, Trout. Hit the Musky fest and it was running a tad high and a little stained, perfect. Picked up a bunch of Bows on plugs and 1 alien Brown. Left that river to check on the SB. It was running low and crystal clear. Didn’t see much moving around so I hit every seam and patch of faster water I could. Found some smaller Browns and and the stocked bows. All fish caught in the jig. Finesse is best when the waters low. Good day on the rivers with plenty of Trout out there to catch. TIGHT LINEZ!!!
