Default weekend report, seabass/fluke

two separate trips, first one didn't find enough seabass to make a limit (only had about 6 keepers) and headed in to fluke finding a slow pick of keeper sized fish and had my limit on the flatties despite the strange new regs haha. all on schoolbus 3/4oz spros/white gulp

Next time out (this saturday) our first spot was littered with short seabass, with just a few keepers we moved out to another deeper spot and found a much better keeper ratio but were immediately met with terrible winds... we retreated back to where we started but couldn't drift it anymore so we anchored up and put a short but sweet hurting on some keeper seabass to finish off my limit and a just barely short cod fish bycatch. Had to grind all morning, but got it done. all on gold jigs.

didn't have much time to fluke on the way back in but we tried for a little and it seemed to have turned into a barren wasteland...idk, we called it a day since the drift was pretty crappy.
