The fish are there although access can be tough. Boyd Park area holds fish, take your time and throw proven effective striped bass lures, watch the tides and be on the lookout for bait fish. The striped bass seem to move up the river during times of high water so don't be afraid to fish the muddy waters.
Keep a log book and use the bar on the page "search" and type in Raritan river to read past posts.
