Everyone knows I'm the last person to say don't kill a fish but I abide by all rules & regs. Powerbait, meal worms, & earthworms aren't the best c&r choices even spinners with barbed trebles are gonna kill them. I didn't even know this pond was stocked until 3 weeks ago by accident.
I look on Google maps & find lakes & fish them. We stopped at this little pond after fishing the pines 1 day & both immediately hooked up with rainbows, we immediately released them & left. There was only 1 sign listing the closure & it was nailed to a tree I didn't see it til we got back to the car.I can't imagine the amount of poaching that happens here.
