Default GAMBLER --Striped Bass Report

Good Striper fishing last couple days. Mixed sizes from small throw-backs to slot size --to a few big over 28s". We caught a few bluefish too, 5 to 10lbers.

Fish were feeding on sandeels and bunker. We saw a lot of bass on the surface but surface plugs didn't do much. Best lures were 4 once jigs, with or without tails --color did not much matter. Also, one gentleman was working a 5 oz chrome croc and got lots of bites.

My sweetie was out with me for the first time this season and landed two 35" stripers on a black tailed Avas, just casting and reeling at a moderately fast retrieve.

Beautiful day on the ocean and we have plenty of available spots open for upcoming trips.
