Im mostly fishing other places with Nick, but was able to check out the raritan river a few short sessions.
Also good stuff on the tributaries, brought my dad out fathers day to one trib targetting smb and he got 5 rainbows from just one spot on the stream. Accidentally it was probably the best father's day gift I could give him
. He went out yesterday in the same stretch and then saw a hyyyyuuuge rainbow trout up close in a riffle. He made out with a bunch of smb too, no giants yet for him (nor me) Hoping those trout hold over but with two more months of hot weather idk!
Also a surprise bitsy striper caught well above the dam. I think my first above it.
