NEVER have thought a trophy northern pike fishery would be not only possible but flourish in the Passaic. Kudos to NJF&G creating that fishery and the vision someone had for it to be possible. Nice to see a river once devoid of life come back to the point it can sustain life. Still wouldn't eat anything from it's waters but nice knowing trophies like the one pictured exist in that system.
