I have a rear rack that i put my tackle bag on, the rack also has a clamp so that helps keep it in place, and I wrap the strap around the seat post. Eventually I'd like to attach a rod holder to it, but haven't figured out a good way to do that yet so I've just been holding the rod with one hand
The bike is an ancient Giant, my moms from 93. Gets the job done!
