Well it’s sure has been interesting the last couple days.... started things off Thursday at the valley to see if these trophy trout were ready to play yet. Set up the Hail Mary 16 rod spread and got to work. Picked away at some small bows on the lead core rods then finally I got the bite I was waiting for... a big ole Rvta trophy trout ! These fish are slobs I love it!!! He hit a 2 color with a warrior spoon. No love for the lakers that day. With all systems go on the mamba and a hit brown bite going on up north i knew it was time! Headed up to the big -0 with the mamba and some friends. Lake was flat and we busted out of Oswego and tore it up east to the plant. Set up and started making work with the browns Most them 3-4 little guys... then I but a Bayrat on out on 3 colors and a giant brown was on. I could tell when it jumped it was big took my time slowed down the mamba and got her to the net, a big o big brown. We continued to work the area working our way deeper and picked away at some browns and lost a few then got a bite on the 4color that turned out to be a nice laker. We continued out deep to 240ft looking for kings but came up empty. Nice little trip for me with some big fish looking forward to getting back up there soon. Today I went back to the scene of the crime at the valley same thing but today the holding vets were on the chew. Ended up with 6 holdovers and 3 lakers, o.....and I found lucky tag number 37 another Rvta trophy trout! Sick!!!! 50 foot down on the rigged cool bite to watch. These fish are beautiful I took the tag and released her back into the wild. All these big fish are all made from new members and donations.
