Had it a few spots on the river looking to see if the Pike came off the spawn yet. In some spots they were moving. Other spots were void of life. It’s strange how they act on certain stretches of the river. Found a couple over 30 inches to play with and the fights were awesome. Man I missed these toothy river Pike! Love them!


Had plans to fish the night bite with the boys. Headed up to the lake and found it completely packed with boats. It’s party time up there on beautiful sunny days and I don’t mind it. Live and let live. It’s good to see Americans out and about enjoying life! The darkness came and it was time for Walleye. Had to do some serious searching to get my limit plus 1. It was super slow til I went to one of my honey holes around 1030. First fish on the boat was a solid 24 incher. Got 2 more fish off that spot @ 18-21 inches but then the action died. Moved onto some proven spots only to find nothing. On my way back to the launch I stopped at one more spot and plucked another Walleye around 19 inches. All in all a slow pick but it was overall a great day to be out on the water. TIGHT LINEZ!!!
