Gerry - that is why I prefer the floating minnows...an absolute blast to watch them crash the surface. on the same lure in one night I got bass, pickerel, crappie, bluegill and a rainbow trout. All on a Floating Rapala in rainbow trout colors. My #1 go to lure.
