Default Day of Infamy Surf fishing

May those that paid the price for their service on this day 78 years ago always be remembered. I fished northern Ocean county today. Started well before sunrise at the beginning of the ebb and had a bite on my third cast and picked at them till sunrise. I was getting some really small Bass on the teaser and got a couple a little bigger on the plug. When it started getting light I had a seal come up in front of me munching on a Bass, the tide was dropping out and the birds and boats showed up just outside the bar and it was over for me early. I went back there this evening and the birds were still working just out of casting range until it started to get dark and everything moved in on the beach lip. I had Bass busting and peanuts washing up and I was catching like crazy sometimes two at time. I would recommend the light tackle the fish were small but it was good to get on a peanut Bunker bite.
