Mad gaffer fishing report wednesday 7/24
We had a good fishing trip today, we started off for Triggerfish it was very rough this morning , so we went out late, we waited for the wind to calm down. When we got to where we been catching the fish there was quite a swell , and the water was dirty, we managed to get a shot at some very big Triggerfish, but we really didn’t have very many numbers , so we left there , Went to another spot caught one or two more Triggerfish , and Some very nice size porgies, not a lot of those either . I return to the first spot , we got another blast of some big triggers and then we went offshore , and finished up with a Full boat limit of jumbo sea bass, and some l ling . We had a lot of action , and we caught several bluefish and a nice weakfish , Was a beautiful day , and we had a hodgepodge of fish which added up to a decent catch. I read a lot of Triggerfish, but the water was dirty , and I don’t think they were biting very well , hopefully that will change . Our next open trip is Sunday, check our Open Boat page for details and open dates call For Information and reservations PS we still have prime charter dates available throughout the season thanks hope to see you soon RAY
