Re: Myrtle beach SC
Myrtle Beach doesn't have an inlet. If you head north on Rte. 17 there are a couple head boats that sail out of Calabash, N.C., which is on the N.C./S.C. border. Maybe a half hour ride. They fish everyday. There are quite a few charter boats in that area. I own a second home in N.C. I go to Calabash to bring home, in a cooler of ice to N.J., same day caught fresh shrimp. They are huge and cost about $6.00 @ pound. I've bought them for as low as $3 @ pound. When I get back to N.J. I behead them and put 20 bags in my freezer. We eat shrimp until we turn blue. They are very tasty compared to store frozen bought shrimp that are weeks old. Good luck. There is always something to catch in the Carolinas.
