Seeing more and more shark tournaments in early June. Unless we get a rare hot spring are catching garbage Blue Shark time. Even last year some NMFS rules made makos an 84 inch min. I won Bahrs landing 3 day Shark tournament in early July years back with a 79 INCH 166 LB mako worth $17,500.
The makos and more interesting stuff is late June into July.
Why are they shifted to early June? Less to catch? Like having a tuna tournament in early July.
Why is that? If you know.
