In response to other comments about no fish being in that pond, I ran into a guy at Jigging World last Friday who showed me a picture of a beautiful 5 lb largemouth he said was caught at Barbour pond the week prior, so it seems someone is catching fish there. Apparently the lake was recently dredged so the north end is no longer a silted up swamp. They also installed some fountains which look nice but not sure how effective they are in increasing oxygen levels in the water.

Semi glad to hear this... I was supposed to go yesterday, but my gym session prior lasted a little longer than I wanted. And by that time, tons of traffic built up where I was at... I was planning to go today, but it looks a windy... Never have a good time on 20+ days
