Default park pond fishing

Last week I went to a park pond in Central Jersey, threw out a can of corn for chum, made 1 cast with my homemade corn meal bait on a #14 gold treble hook and 4 lb test line, didn't get a hit, then caught and released 49 fish on the unbaited hook. I returned the next day and used the "magic hook" with no chum or bait and caught and released 36 more fish. On the third day the fish didn't hit the unbaited hook very well so I chummed and used my corn meal bait to catch and release 15 more fish. 100 fish in 3 days in the same spot on a bare hook was very amazing to me. When I returned yesterday evening there was a muddy flood in 60 degree water and I only landed 2 bluegills. Some of the fish that I caught were largemouth bass to 11", white perch to 9", black crappies, bluegills, pumpkinseed sunfish, brown bullhead, common carp and feral goldfish.
