I've always got by with the chrome hammered jig and I've caught best with them. I was on an open boat about 20 years ago that the only thing they wanted was a glow jig. I stood by guys catching while I got nothing. So as Captain Lou said everything has its time and place. If I see guys catching on beef jerky and I'm not I'm gonna try beef jerky.
