Yesterday afternoon we picked away at the sea bass with decent action, and pulled in a good number of keepers.

Captain Lenny sent an early report today at noon. We ran offshore of Shark River Inlet and anchored up and started the day with excellent mackerel fishing, with some sea bass and ling mixed in. Mid-day we started to jig for small blues, and picked away at 2-3 pounders. The blues were caught on Ava 27 jigs, the mackerel were hitting bait and jigs. It was an awesome day of fishing with beautiful weather!
