We tried fishing inshore last night, but only pulled in a few throw-back fluke so we headed out east to see if we could do better. We ended up picking away at some nice keeper sea bass with some more short fluke mixed in. Fishing was better towards the end of the trip but overall it was a fairly successful evening. The pool winner was Maurice Michelson from Monroe Township, NJ.

Today we looked south along the beach but didn’t find the blues like we had hoped for. We found just a few offshore on the edge of the mud hole. We had great mackerel fishing today, along with sea bass, ling, and a pollack. It was a great day all around! Today's pictures will be posted with tomorrow's report.
