Awesome weekend fishing
Friday - Got off the train in point pleasant beach 6:30 and took a few casts with my brother after he picked me up, we had some good action with shorts right off the bat on gulp and landed 2 keeps, both took live snappers on a 1/4
2oz jig head.
Saturday - decided to hit a non sponsor 1/2 day afternoon fluke trip. Went solo and worked my butt off to land my limit of fish to 5.5lbs, 4.5lbs, and a 20”er.. not bad but was not great fishing at all.
Sunday - hit a charter out of point pleasant with my brother and Dad, we had an awesome day with a 3 man limit on fluke to 7 1/2 pounds with atleast 5 others being over 4lbs. Great day, my brother lost an absolutely beast at the net, easily 9lbs. The bite varied a lot during the day and the fish were not consistent on what and how they wanted it. Also 3 man limit if seabass, mostly being over 15”
