Default Barnegat bay Fluke report

We had a slow morning on the bay. Started fishing at 6:30 on the last half of the flood tide. I missed one and my friend got 2 shorts in the first hour, then it was pretty dead for awhile. We found a little deeper spot and picked a few on the beginning of the outgoing. I got one 22 inches on a wonder rig and my buddy got 2 at 19 on a roadrunner jig and gulp. South wind and traffic started up and we left at 11:30. Water temp was 70 and went up to 75 for awhile, drift was 0.70 knts west to east. We missed more than we caught they were hitting light. We also caught a guy stealing our killies from our trap this morning! I guess times are tough?
