Hello everyone. The WCC needs some volunteer help with stocking the Musconetcong River. As of now we are short on help for this week to make this happen. We will be meeting at the Hackettstown Hatchery this Friday at 7am. We are done usually around noon.

We work with the state employees who do the regular stocking. They provide us with fish to stock in numerous locations on the lower Musconetcong that are open to the public and are away from the bridges. We do this to spread the fish out and increase the amount of spots with fishing opportunities. It is great way to learn about some fishing spots that hold trout year round, cannot be found through the internet, and do not get as much fishing pressure as the more well known spots.
