Default Weekend report - surf/bay

Fished hard Friday night and into Saturday.

Friday night - fished back bay incoming tide and the only action I had was a very good initial hit and run on a white sp that came undone... lots of herring/shad/small bass popping around the whole time I was there.

Saturday am - hit the surf at 5am and fished till 7, nice morning but nothing doing, all boats were heading north.

Saturday mid morning - changed gears and picked up 2 dozen worms and hoped to catch some flounder and anything else at a pretty reliable and secluded bay spot near some structure. Caught 3 flounder keeping my 2, 16 of the fattest blackfish I’ve ever caught in the bay mostly all females loaded with eggs and safely released, biggest was probably around 3 1/2lbs and 8 bass to about 24”. Could only fish 1 rod that’s how good the action was, very fun until I ran out of worms and called it a day.
