Report Monday, April 9, We had some decent action, we had keepers around the boat, some guys had two , And a really decent amount of throwbacks, which doesn’t help us today, but it was actions , and it shows that the water is warming up. We also had quite a few codfish, again a few keepers, but a lot of throwbacks which is encouraging . We also tried inshore this morning, We did not have any bottom fishing bites , but there was a huge area of bait inshore . The sky was full of birds ganets , diving everywhere, several whales and , dolphins which is very encouraging, all kinds of life moving in here. With a good deal of bottom life, of course not as many keepers as we would like And the huge amount of bait moving in here, it shows it won’t be too long before fishing is right up to snuff. We will probably be moving up to Sandyhook bay to go bass fishing call for information reservations PS it was great to be out fishing .
