I'm sure the insurance company was contacted quickly too.
He is obviously not going to drill holes in the bottom. Coming off the throttles at precisely the wrong time gives plausible deniability about intent.
Maybe it was an accident. Just too many things wrong with the picture. I'd say if he had no insurance it was an accident. But I doubt that- and we will never know.

I would think the Florida DEC would have something to say about sinking his boat in the middle of the inlet on purpose.. The boat DID go to the bottom, according to some of the articles I read about it.... bob
