I just had a short PM discussion with Gerry and he's given his blessing.
I'd like to propose the creation of a NJFishing MMSI directory for those of us who fish the NJ region. As most, if not all, marine VHS radios these days have built-in DSC capabilities (unless you are running something archaic....I still have an old radio on the boat for backup), we can utilize this to contact each other on the water to share information. One of the nicer features is you can even share location data privately using the DSC Position Request/Report features without announcing it over the air.
You information will be kept private, only shared with those who chose to list their data in the directory.
