We took a small break from the cold, and we were very lucky to be able to do a fishing trip to Miami, Florida, to train for our upcoming NJ TUNA season! We did the Miami Amberjack / Reef Donkey Challenge, which is a full day of only jigging and fighting big Amberjacks from the deep.
This was amazing training for our NJ Tuna Season! We cannot wait for the winter to be over and for Tuna season to start.
It was a great trip and a lot of fun fishing with the awesome Captain Mike Murias and my good friend and fishing buddy Dan "Bombaci," who is also from NJ and also loves vertical jigging for NJ Tuna.
We were very grateful for the opportunity to fish on this awesome inboard diesel SEA VEE, the great weather window, amazing Captain and the fantastic fishing! A big Thank You to the Big Guy upstairs for making it happen, and all of the above, we are so grateful & thankful.
