Long time no see my friends
Sooo I bet you guys have missed me. No? Well alright.. it has been a crazy summer. Got engaged, have a baby on the way, moving into a new place next month and getting married 2 days later. So yeah not much time to fish. Hadnt been out since has to be early May so Sunday morning I made a point of it to get out atleast for an hour or so. Headed out at about 7 to the little pond that everyone heckles me for all the time. Start out working a swim jig slowly along the bank. 2nd cast I feel that tap and some weight and that feeling I've been missing for so long. Boom set the hook and hes on. Not big especially for the size of the jig but a beauty to me anyway. Felt like it was gonna be a good morning. Next hour was filled with just 1 missed slurp of a frog. It was good to be out and hopefully I'll get a few more days in before it gets icy. Tight lines boys.
