mad gaffer bottom fishing report sat. 7/9
We sailed today but probably shouldn't have, it was windy and rough, and the conditions were very poor. We wound up catching fish , Porgies and Seabass, and one keeper fluke , which probably ate a small Seabass while it was being reeled up. We had a nice bunch of guys on the boat, and we agreed to come in early and try again on a nicer day. There was no lack of fish, just bad conditions. Tomorrow however looks like a much better day , and we are going to take advantage of that nice West wind and do some fluke and sea bass fishing. That west wind should lay the sea down nicely, and I expect that the fishing will be good, because it wasn't that rough today, and the sea was not really riled . We have plenty of openings tomorrow call for information and reservations.
