Striped bass is an amazing fish and an amazing fishery. Incredible how they have mounted a comeback from the 70's / 80's when the fishery collapsed. Hope we've learned a valuable lesson and in this case history doesn't repeat itself. Glad the regulations this year provided some protection to the bigger fish, nothing will ever replace the excitement of the spring run and fish exploding on bunker while migrating past our waters.
