I've had countless good magic hour (4-9 PM) fluke trips.

Back in the late 90's before they rearrange the docks inside the Atlantic Highlands Marina and when they still allowed fishing off the end of the docks, myself and a few others would catch fluke well after dark fishing weighted soft plastics along the shadow line.
