True, very true! I've seen some very long fish caught out of SR! The up and down water levels in recent years have obviously had an effect on the trap nets as well! Water level is a serious issue in NJ these days! Drives me crazy! I must add that the Pike I've caught and have seen caught out if SR always seem ratty and thin! Strange coming out of a place that has a healthy Herring population!
