Bass on the beds
While fishing off the dam on the local lake I saw half a dozen nice sized bass sitting on their beds in about 1 - 2 feet of water.
It was interesting watching them fight off the hordes of sunfish that were apparently hanging out waiting for an opportunity to go after their eggs. Funny how the usually hunted were now the hunters.
