I used goo remover from home depot to remove most of the glue and finished it off with a (very little bit) of acetone on a rag. don't let it stay on for long. I believe the only way to blend in the older faded hull and the pure gelcoat under the decals would be wet sanding. I did my 25 center by hand. It takes time but comes out great.
