The motor does not have a built in gas tank. We have used an external 3 gallon tank with this motor since it sips fuel and does not burn much fuel in a day of fishing on a lake. I can send you a video of the motor running taken in the past week if you are serious about purchasing the engine. You will not be disappointed - the motor is in excellent condition and runs perfect.
