We were out MACKEREL fishing yesterday and we were able to bang away at the MACK's in the morning until the wind back off and we lost the drift (the dog's became a big issue then).

Later in the afternoon the wind came up a little, the drift picked up and we started to bang away at the MACKEREL again. All in all it was a fair day of fishing with the MACKEREL & we had some Herring mixed in.

It looks like the wind is going to keep us at the dock on Friday but the good news is the weather looks good for SATURDAY so we WILL BE FISHING ON SATURDAY.

The GOLDEN EAGLE sails everyday (weather permitting) at 7:30am from Belmar Marina in Belmar, NJ.
