Ran our open boat trip this morning for stripers. Plan was to take the ride east to get in on the jig fishing but unfortunately ran into some motor issues on our way. Turned around and fished local. Bouncing around throughout the day the guys managed to land 6 short bass, 2 bass around 26" that the guys used bonus tags on, and a handful of keeper sized blackfish to 5 lbs. We solved our motor issues and will be back out tomorrow looking around.
