I guess I'll give you a different take on this since I never have any luck running OB's dry of fuel.

Stabilize fuel with whatever additive you choose. Ive used Sta Bil for years w/o issue. I add stabilizer on the last trip of the season so I know it fully circulated into the fuel system.

Fog engine at home on the hose. Once fogged, tap the key or pull rip cord to cycle pistons in the bore to distribute fogging oil.

Store ob in operating position to drain all water. Drain and fill gear oil and look for any water.

Throw a cover on it and say goodnight till next March.
