Nothing would make me happier than to realize not only did I Instill my passion for something (sport, hobby, whatever) in my son, but that in doing so I created an enthusiast whose skills will surpass my own. The best part was that he just turned and went his own way without so much as a parting word. More than hour later, I get a call on my cell, and he tells me he's in the lot. So I hike the 400 yards to it or so and he's walking back across the county road, having explored a marsh in the meantime.
