Good question. Sometimes to save about a buck and a half a gallon I haul my gas from Costco down about 60 feet of stairs to my boat and add Startron and Seafoam. Other times to save time and trouble I gas up at a marina that sells Valve Tect gas with stabilizer already in it. So far no problems but I still wonder if it's doing any harm. Also I would like to know what is the best additive. I've read in a couple places that don't sell it that Startron is the best but haven't heard anybody except people selling it that any other brand is best...Charlie
