Hey everyone!
Been getting settled into college life up here and finally had a free weekend to go out in search of pike. Went out with my roommate and one of his friends on my boat at one of the lakes nearby in hopes that I could use some of my NJ pike knowledge to land them their first pike!
Well, not only did they catch their first pike, but also their second and third! We slammed 8 pike in 4-5 hours, with my roommate's biggest being 27" and his friend's being 23". I also got a new PB at 29"!
By far the best day I've EVER had pike fishing. If this keeps up I don't think I'll be able to go back to all my skunks on the big P.
Anyways, thought I'd keep you guys updated with what's going on up here. Hope all is well and the fish are biting back in Jersey!
