Got together with my buddies for our 3rd annual Delaware Death Trip. We toned it down this year, as we started friday evening at Dingman's and ended up yesterday afternoon at Smithfield Beach. All gear, tents, sleeping bags, food, etc. packed into our kayaks for trip. Had high hopes going into the weekend until I realized it was a FULL MOON
. Action was not hot and heavy, as we managed a handful of Smallmouth, biggest going 17" (yawn). Mostly targeting Walleyes, who did not cooperate. Spent a lot of time on Walpack bend fishing the deeper waters with no love shown. Overall nice 3 days spent with da boyz though, beautiful Big D scenery, Bald Eagles, some big snakes, swimming, and the usual shenanigans. Wish I had more pics, but here it is lol
