Default Sunday fluking on the Grateful Dad

Got out with Pete this morning, was hoping to make the run out to where the fish are, my motor had other ideas. Had a "check engine" light at the dock, then got a "no oil" light after running slow through the sailboats in Keyport. Once I opened her up, it ran fine So we kept it local and fished Chapel Hill, the Knoll, SH channel, and had the usual parade of cookie cutter 17" shorts. Excellent conditions for drifting, we just couldn't find the right ones. All our fish were taken on peanuts/strips.
Called it a day around 1, after we had our fill of the unmitigated bliss.
