Listen to Capt Lou. He is Knows his stuff. When he says he has used them all he is not kidding. When he was your age they did not have winter boots way way back then. He would have to use the hide of the Wolly Mammoth and wrap that around his feet to keep warm in the winter

I have a pair of Bogs i bought from West Marine about 4 years ago when i was in a pinch and needed to get a pair for trip i had that day. I fish throughout the winter in my Big Tog hunt. They turned out to be the best pair of Winter boots i have ever worn.
