I believe I have the same boat as you. 23 Tidewater CC. I had electronics person do the install last summer and he managed to install the thru hull in wrong location. Kept loosing bottom above 24 mph. Had a better company fix problem by installing a B60 20° close to keel and transom. Works perfectly above 40 mph and in choppy conditions. He is located in Wall Twp. The previous transducer was installed about 4 feet behind the lifting strake. All that turbulance was no good. Hope this was helpful. Any questions, feel free to ask.
