Seventy degrees SURFACE temperature has no bearing. Chech the bottom readings where the fluke live. My friend dropped a temperature probe to the bottom and got a 59 degrees reading. And if the wind is from the SW it can get colder on the bottom and on the surf. Perfect seabass temperature. Northwest/North winds pushes the warmer shallow water from the New York shoreline down our coast. Fluking gets better.
