Default Re: Land locked salmon

I've picked landlocks in New York. Last trip was on the Schroon. 10 miles in canoes.... half a dozen salmon along with multiple browns and rainbows.
That was before the kayak craze.
2 people in our party almost drowned near the end of the trip.(unforseen whitewater w/o lifevests) The river was scouted beforehand, but a section near the end was obscured from our view.
One of the most memorable trips of my life.
Starting point was near Huggins Brook. We put out near Warrensburg.
Absolutely amazing fisherie!
We even tried for lakers in some of the deepest holes.

First landlock came from Maine tho.
Dolby Pond, which is the beginning of W.Branch Penobscot.

I'm pretty certain that the salmon stocking didn't quite take @ Aeroflex... I could be wrong.
