Sunday Offshore Report 11/30
Sailing Tuesday 10PM - Space Available
Giant Sea Bass fishing was very good again in Sunday along with jumbo porgies and a few cod and Pollock.
We had a strong current Sunday but it did not slow the fishing down.
Small blues were a nuisance for awhile but they thinned out and the sea bass and porgies began to bite.
There were many limits of sea bass and a good number of porgies.
The pool winners were :
Mike Vastola from Lavallette NJ with a 23lb cod.
Second place was :
Gelu Pislaru from Hopatcong NJ with a 16lb pollock.
It looks good for upcoming trips.
More sea bass and porgies are migrating to the wrecks every day.
The big Jamaica is scheduled to fish the offshore wrecks every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, including some Tuesday trips.
For December the trips will sail at 10pm the night before.
